HOW TO ACHIEVE A SEXY CITY LOOK
This is a look inspired by the city lights, perfect for a night out.
Step 1 of 12:
I’m starting with the new Teint Idole Fresh Wear foundation. I recommend using a lightweight foundation, especially during summer nights. Apply this foundation evenly over the skin.
Step 2 of 12:
Next step is concealing your dark circles. I always tell people concealers are a must-have in a makeup bag because they really make a difference in your complexion. Your undereyes become brighter and your skin looks more even and radiant.
Step 3 of 12:
I’m setting my makeup with Dual Finish Versatile Powder Makeup. Gently pat the powder on your face instead of brushing it on.
Step 4 of 12:
Because this look is intense, you want to make your brows darker and more defined to help frame the eyes.
Step 5 of 12:
Using Le Crayon Khôl in Black Lapis, outline your lids. This is a guideline for your eyeliner.
Step 6 of 12:
Using Artliner, fill in the outline you created. As you can see, the outline will help keep both eyes even. You also want to use a long-wearing eyeliner because it will last longer. This eyeliner is easy to use because it’s not a brush. It’s a sponge tip that can create thick and thin lines.
Step 7 of 12:
Using the eyeliner pencil, line your waterline to help darken the eyes.
Step 8 of 12:
Create a triangle shape on the corner of the eyes. Next, use a damp brush to apply Color Design Eye Shadow in Best Dressed, a beautiful blue color. Applying the eye shadow wet will make the color more saturated and bright. Fill in this area.
Step 9 of 12:
Line the lower lash line to balance the look. I recommend going over it with liquid eyeliner so it doesn’t smudge. Finish off by applying the blue eye shadow along the inner corners.
Step 10 of 12:
Using drugstore lashes, apply as close to your lash line as possible. Curl your lashes. Use Hypnôse Drama Mascara to blend your real and fake lashes together. That way it looks more natural. Fake lashes will add a glamorous touch.
Step 11 of 12:
Add color to your cheeks with your favorite blush. I’m a big fan of the Precision Cheek Brush #7 because it has a flat top shape. It applies blush evenly.
Step 12 of 12:
Since the eyes are so bold, I’m going to finish off with a soft lip color: L’Absolu Rouge in Rose Essencea.
Now you’re finished! This look is simple to achieve and can add boldness to the eyes. It will stand out in photographs and you’ll look so beautiful under the city lights. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial. Good luck.
