A Harry Potter Wedding Dress Looks Pretty Similar to a Fall ‘08 Alexander McQueen Dress
Jany Temime, who is costuming the last Harry Potter movie, explains that Fleur Delacour’s wedding dress “is made in organza and decorated with a pair of phoenixes that face one another on the bodice and form the silhouette of a heart.” She adds, “I chose the phoenix because, like love, it is eternal.” However, some have noticed that the dress bears striking similarity to one from Alexander McQueen’s fall 2008 collection.
